Do you supply CE-marked structural steel?

Yes. Structural steelwork is fabricated in compliance with EN 1090 and supplied with material certificates and traceability records. Execution class is agreed with the design engineer at the start of the job.

Can you work from a sketch instead of full drawings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For replacement beams, brackets, platforms and agricultural work we routinely start from a site survey or a marked-up sketch and produce the fabrication drawings ourselves for your approval.

What sizes and section types can you handle?

Accepted Answer

Universal beams and columns, PFCs, RHS/SHS/CHS hollow sections, angle, flat and plate. Heavier sections and long members are handled through our supply chain and delivered direct where that suits the programme better.

Question 4

Do you galvanise or paint the steel?

Accepted Answer

Both. We shot blast and paint in-house to the specified system, and we manage hot-dip galvanising for exposed, external and water-industry steelwork where longer life is required.

Question 5

Do you erect the steel as well as fabricate it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our erection crews hold Safe Pass and Working at Heights, and we coordinate mobile cranes, telehandlers and MEWPs as the lift plan requires.

How quickly can you deliver?

Accepted Answer

Small fabrications and replacement items are often turned around in a few days. Frames and larger packages depend on steel availability and approval times — we give a realistic date at quotation and flag any slippage early.
