Water Treatment Plant Fabrication
Stainless process fabrication, pipework, walkways and mechanical installation for clean water treatment plants across Ireland.
Water Industry Engineering
Specialist water treatment plant fabrication — designed, fabricated, installed.
Modern water treatment plants are complex pieces of process engineering — and the fabrication work that goes into them must be precise, hygienic and well-documented. NR Engineering supplies stainless process fabrication, mechanical installation and access systems to water treatment plants across Ireland.
We work with main contractors and process specialists delivering Uisce Éireann capital programmes, local authority schemes and private treatment plants. Our scope typically includes hygienic stainless pipework, vessels, walkways, handrails, ladders, access platforms and the mechanical installation of process equipment.
Everything we fabricate for a treatment plant is built to support the plant's operational life — easy to inspect, easy to clean, easy to maintain.

Typical applications
Where we apply this work
- Water treatment plant pipework
- Process tanks and vessels
- Walkways and platforms
- Chemical dosing skids
- Membrane and filtration installations
- Plantroom fit-out
Water treatment plant work demands a fabricator who understands that the plant has to operate continuously for decades. Welds need to be inspectable, pipework needs to be drainable, brackets need to allow service access. We design every fabrication with the operator and the maintenance technician in mind.
We are equally comfortable working as a specialist subcontractor inside a larger M&E or process contractor's package, or delivering a smaller plant upgrade direct to the asset owner.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Can't see your question? Call us on 087 253 7966 or email nreng1@gmail.com.
Do you weld to WPS for water treatment work?+
Yes — all process welding is to qualified WPS with weld records issued for every joint. Coded welders only on stainless process pipework.
Can you handle the mechanical installation as well?+
Yes — fabrication and mechanical installation are both core capabilities. We routinely deliver both as a coordinated package on water treatment plant projects.
Do you handle installation as well as fabrication?+
Yes — we fabricate in our Drogheda workshop and install on site with our own crews, lifting equipment and Safe Pass certified operatives. One contractor, one point of accountability, from drawing board to handover.
How do I get a quote?+
